I HAVE NEVER TAUGHT DRAMA BEFORE, CAN I STILL STUDY FOR YOUR TEACHING DIPLOMA?

Well that is why you are here. Our two-year program will give you the qualifications and the skills to be able to teach confidently. Work experience will also be part of the requirement and you will learn all the aspects and roles involved in producing a show for stage among many other skills. We will help you remove the fear and find that new career in teaching speech and drama that you may have always dreamed of.

WHERE WILL I BE QUALIFIED TO TEACH DRAMA?

Teaching drama is one of the most fun and rewarding careers you can ask for. You will be able to work privately teaching speech and drama as well as working for performing arts and stage schools. Many students have gone on to work within the early-years, primary and secondary schools system and many more have set up their own successful businesses.

IS STUDYING ONLINE MORE DIFFICULT?

If there is anything we have learned over the past few years, it is just how quickly people have adapted to online classes and tutorials and our courses are no different. Our students are combining our classes with work, families and even other studies. Online teaching has been happening in many colleges for many years and now technology has made that so much easier and much more interactive. This course has been designed specifically to be taught online which gives it an advantage already. To learn without ever having to leave the comfort of your home is the way of the future. However, we will have two workshops in person, in Cork in Year 1 and the examinations will also take place in person.
